Joerg Schmidt is a highly experienced insurance industry expert who worked in different senior management functions for large insurers in Switzerland, UK, Germany and Scandinavia.

In 1992 Joerg established his own company specialized in dealing with multinational companies. His focus was servicing companies from the life science industry, and he subsequently established his firm as one of the most experienced independent service providers in that filed. Whereas most competitors put their main focus on placing of insurance policies, Joerg Schmidt distinguished his company with outstanding claims handling services and support in all global markets. He also established a company in the EU in order to be admitted within the European Union.

He was one of the starting members of an international network, which he helped to grow from a European to a Global presence. He serviced for that organization for 15 years as Treasurer and for another 5 years as Chairman. Today he works as independent risk management and claims consultant for domestic and international clients.
